Support in network marketing through AI – Jérôme Hoerth, General Manager QN Europe, on the topic of mentoring via artificial intelligence (AI).

How long have you been involved with the topic of AI?

It’s not that I’m concerned with the topic of AI per se. For me, AI is a means to an end, the use of which can help me realize my vision for network marketing.

How could an industry such as the modern direct sales variant of network marketing benefit from the use of AI?

The special feature of network marketing is the absolute equality of opportunity. It is not the judgment of third parties that determines your own success and therefore your earnings, but solely your attitude and discipline. Of course, a good mentor is helpful as a role model on your own career path. Ideally, this should be someone from the upline who started building their business earlier and whose team you are part of. Unfortunately, not every sales partner has such a good upline. Mentoring by an AI that has access to an extensive online knowledge database could help to close this gap.

Network marketing is a person-to-person business. Why use AI in addition to human intelligence?

Because often not everything works as it should. At QN Europe, for example, we are very international. Managers and parts of their teams often speak different languages and have to switch to a foreign language. But even in the case of different time zones or cultures, support from an AI opens up completely new perspectives.

How exactly do you envisage this help?

I’m thinking of a kind of Alexa or Siri for sales partners. This AI can answer questions such as “What is my current monthly turnover?”, “Which product should I focus on?” or “What is the most sensible strategy to earn 500 euros this month?”. It can access motivational content, recommend a book on cold calling or help you prepare for your first presentation and much more.

Does the use of AI also enable more inclusion in network marketing?

Of course, because that’s what it’s all about! Regardless of the previous professional background and the person who brings you into the business, a level playing field is created. There are no longer any language barriers or unequal levels of knowledge. It would also make business more accessible for blind people and people with reading difficulties.
